Designed for a large family in Mexico Beach, Florida, this custom coastal home balances generous living and outdoor spaces with the practical demands of a beach lifestyle. The design maximizes covered parking at the ground level while creating a spacious upper-level floor plan with multiple bedrooms, open gathering spaces, and direct connections to expansive porches.

At the heart of the home, the kitchen, dining, and living areas flow together as a central gathering space for family and guests. A large kitchen island provides additional seating, while a custom coffered ceiling adds architectural detail and defines the living area within the open floor plan. Large openings extend the interior onto covered and screened porches, creating comfortable outdoor living spaces that can be enjoyed throughout much of the year.

The ground level was designed as an extension of the home's outdoor living areas, with covered space opening directly to a private pool and landscaped courtyard. Multiple porches, exterior stairs, and indoor-outdoor connections provide several ways to enjoy the coastal setting while maintaining privacy around the pool.

The exterior combines familiar Florida coastal architecture with a clean, refined material palette, incorporating broad roof overhangs, covered porches, decorative brackets, coastal-inspired railings, and durable exterior finishes.
